This morning, I had to give an orientation to a class at 9. But only about 75% of students were on time. I asked the prof., if she wanted to wait a few more minutes. She replied yes.
I replied (kind of louudly, so that everyone can hear me), “This would be a good time to give the quiz you were talking about.” All students heard me, loud and clear. The room became completely silent, waiting for the reaction from the prof. All I can hear is the hum of computers’ power supply fan.
Of course there was no quiz planned. I got them good for Monday morning.
