well, i shared with you my passion for pho – vietnamese noodle soup – on Sept. 15. I like it with stuff like
- eye round steak
- well-done flank
- fat brisket
- soft tendon
- book tripe
- and meatballs
and put a lot of bean sprouts and basil (or cilantro).
one great such restaurant is Pho Huynh Restaurant located on 3017 Milam. i go there with my chinese friends for lunch. we try to go whenever we can take 1.5-2 hours away from our office, so we can’t do that very often. food is just fantastic there. if you live in Houston, you’ve got to try it. next time, i will take a picture.
