So from my blog on 9/16/2004, you were exposed a little to my commuting story. Well, if I drive shortest route to my work it is about 30 miles. some days i car pool with my colleague who lives around space center blvd and clear lake city. so yesterday i decided to bike to my colleagues house, then drive in together.
morning commute was very pleasant. it took me about 30 min for this 10 mile ride.
although i use headlight and taillight, riding on el camino and on clear lake city was kinda scary. too many cars and no shoulder.
for lunch, i went to the cafeteria and had a small garden salad. (only $1.89, you can’t beat that) well this turned out to be a huge mistake.
evening ride home was completely different story. southeast wind aroudn 20 mph was pounding on me. that meant head wind most of the way home. 
well, and it was wednesday night. that meant ‘team kids’ and choir, right? so i took a quick shower, went up to church, helped my wife with her team kids, and went to choir. i had leave choir early, since i was starving. i finally got home at 8:30 and my wife fixed me stir-fry!
